That's cool you've offered to help! Surprised you never heard that song. I'm not looking for total parts but rather some riffs/sounds that would make others think "oh yea, that's use me" when I'm playing. I've searched the net and have only these links useful. If you want I'd be happy to send you a CD with the song on it so you can at least hear it. Just PM me with your address.

This one looks pretty cool:

http://www.everydaycompanion.com/chords/songs/use_me.asp

This one shows the main riff containing the notes E, G, and a weird C# on the 9th fret (can't figure out how that fits). But it only shows the riff:

http://www.everydaycompanion.com/chords/songs/use_me.asp

No words, just description of what this guy thinks the rhythm should be. I highly doubt his E7#9 suggestion but I have terrible ears.

http://www.fretplay.com/tabs/w/withers_bill/use_me-crd.shtml

This is by a different artist and the chords look very different:

http://www.fretplay.com/tabs/i/itai_miller/use_me_up-crd.shtml

Bass part, low synth, anything would be great. I saw a guy play the bass on the song in a basement about a month ago and I think he stayed in a box. Something like D, E, G, A, some C's and F's. Oh, I'm not helping here at all…

Also, what key do you play it in? I printed a version that has E7, A7, and Am7.

There is a groovy song called “Use Me” by Bill Whithers covered by a local band here “Howard and the White Boys.” It has such authoritative bass lines that make the song great. Makes you want to wiggle your hips. Anyway, even though I only play guitar now, does anyone out there play it? Could you share you tab of some of the stuff you do on that song? If not, I understand.

Click on the link and listen to song #12.
