the other day i found myself at a gig where i had to play songs i had never heard before

luckily my bass has an amazing tone
so i happily picked the life out of the root notes
and did a couple of slides
and couple of fills

i want ta know

what else could i have done ?

or rather what would you have played

the guitars were going Bb , F , G , D# most of the time

then after the chorus they go Bb , C , D , E , F

and then back to Bb , F , G , D#
