                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I think one reason Fenders are used so often is that they are very versatile. It is easy to get a variety of sounds from a P Bass or Jazz Bass. That said, though, they tend to sound best when played in music where the bass is a little less prominent in the mix because they blend well. I am generalizing here, though, as there are millions of exceptions to this. I think a lot of people like them because they have such a "classic" sound for rock, blues, or country. I have a Jazz Bass and I like it for this reason as well as the thin neck.]]></content:encoded>
