The cheaper one has a lesser rating than the more expensive one.  I have no personal experience with either, that I recall.  Many will suggest other brands, as will I.  Try a Rockbass by Warwick in the $500 - $600 range and Warwick has their topline over $1000.  <br><br>My next bass will most likely be a 5-string Fortress ($600) in the Rockbass series.  I have a 4-string Peavey Grind right now.  It is good, but nothing compared to the Warwick Rockbass line.<br><br>Good luck and let us know what you decide.]]></content:encoded>
