While surfing around, I found this jewel..and couldn't help but think....What kinda #### is this?
So, whats your vote? Real or just junk?

It doesn't sound a lot of money for somethng that may or may not work.....
Personally, I'd be more impressed if he could spell "Jimmy Paige" (sic) correctly....

The electric song is pretty bad in my opinion. Theres nothing challanaging about it at all. And I won't even tell you my honest opinion on the acoustic track. I'll just let it be noted that no one should pay money to learn from a guy who knows nothing about dynamics.

Quite simply, his claims are unfounded. The program that he lays out is less than 25 hours practice - it simply isn't possible to train fingers to have the memory and the dexterity to do what he claims, in that time frame.
On top of that, the amount of information, that you're being given means that you have to retain EVERY shred of information that you're given - this is simply not possible, given 17 minutes a day.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Jim: have you heard of the refund business model? Basically get the money on the promise of a full refund if you're not satisfied, and that's it. less than 10% will ever be bothered to ask for their money back.
I'm not saying this guy is (or isn't) a schmoe, he could well believe what he's selling works, just that a refund offered doesn't automatically mean he's not and I don't think what he's offering is even remotely practical.

I don't see why your asking us, we haven't tryed it. Just do it and tell us what you think. You may not be able to develop the way he tell you, but you'll probably learn something.

I'm well aware of the refund model ;) Doesn't mean you won't get it if you ask. And it might be worth the money to some people, depends what they want to get from the guitar, as saber says.

I guess it's easy to have a 100% success rate when no one buys your crap.
People are always looking for shortcuts to everything, it's human nature to want to get the end result with as little work or little time involved. Maybe for somethings this works (I've yet to see one), but I believe something like guitar playing is not one of those quick fix things. Like many things in life you get out of it only what you put in. Would you expect to work only 17 minutes a day at work and get a 40 hour paycheck?
