I just started learning this and it's really good. Thanks for your effort on it. I have one question though, regarding this part of the intro riff:

D|------------------------------------5----------| Are you still comfortable with these notes? I'm listening the the song as it was recorded for the Premonition CD, and to my wooden ear the riff is not starting on the high E string. It's also finishing on C at the third fret of the A string - he starts singing 'Outside ...' as he hits the last note in the riff, on the 'C' chord.

It sounds to me as though this section of the intro riff (in this version of the song at least) is very similar to the ending riff:
