SEEMS TO ME I ORDERED SWEET AND SOUR PORK

BUT GARFIELD'S ON MY FOLK

HE'S PURRING HERE ON MY FORK

CHORUS 1:

THERE'S A CAT IN THE KETTLE AT THE PEKING MOON

But it can easily sound like the record by placing a capo on the 1st fret and by playing most of the chords originally shown here... but I have some changes... sorry Rodders :( But thanks for getting me started on this tab.

Here's what I got so far...

CATS IN THE CRADLE – HARRY CHAPIN (E-Z Version)
(Capo 1st Fret / Key of F / 76 BPM)

INTRO:

VERSE 1:

  E G
A CHILD ARRIVED JUST THE OTHER DAY
   A E
HE CAME TO THE WORLD IN THE USUAL WAY
                                    G
BUT THERE WERE PLANES TO CATCH, AND BILLS TO PAY
A E
HE LEARNED TO WALK WHILE I WAS AWAY
           D Bm
AND HE WAS TALKING 'FORE I KNEW IT, AND AS HE GREW, HE'D SAY
G E nc G E
"I'M GONNA BE LIKE YOU, DAD. YOU KNOW I'M GONNA BE LIKE YOU.”

CHORUS:

        E D
AND THE CATS IN THE CRADLE AND THE SILVER SPOON
G A
LITTLE BOY BLUE AND THE MAN ON THE MOON
E D
WHEN YOU COMIN' HOME DAD, I DON'T KNOW WHEN
    G E G E
BUT WE'LL GET TOGETHER THEN, YOU KNOW WE'LL HAVE A GOOD TIME THEN
