Are you playing this with that reggae type rhythm or just regular strumming? Listen to the song. You hit the base note of the chord and follow with one or more strums of the upper part of the chord. EM7 Dm Gm All around in my home town... All licks are done in Gm pentatonic (blues w/o the blue note) in your basic root on E pattern. There is a little solo work (or a lot in live version) also in G blues.
