whats the strum please I've been playing it DDUDU quite quickly... which seems to work perfectly... but remember i'm a complete beginner so someone else might be able to advise you better. :D
I've always liked Dolly Parton, she is one hell of a song writer. I dont think I can hit the high note on the last Jolene though. Still I'll give it a go. Thank you Amira. yes i've got a soft spot for Dolly :D

well i think the way it's tabbed above in AM, C and G is easier to sing... than the way i play it Em (instead of Am) G (instead of C) and D (instead of G) with a capo on the 5th fret which i think is the way Dolly used to play it (?) but i'm not sure about that... i have a little trouble hitting that last Jolene sometimes too... it depends on the time of day and how i'm feeling! You can play it as it's tabbed below or as I do... Em, G and D with a capo on the 5th fret... try it both ways and see which you prefer...
