                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[MAN ON THE MOON by REM<br><br>Right here goes my offering for today, this song is relatively easy even if you are a comparitive newbee, and don't be put off by the strange chord name of Dadd4/add2 - this is just a regular C chord slip up 2 frets as the first diagram shows below.  Note the timing changes, for most of the song you hold for 4 beats a bar and strum D DU UDU (or at least that's what i do) but for the chorus you only hold for only 2 beats a chord - listen to the record if you don't understand what I mean.  By the way if the quick Bm is proving tricky I suggest David Hodge's little easy version of XX0432 as this is quite easy to play.  This is a great song for acoustic guitar and most people know it - so their singing may drown out any duff notes anyway.
