Hiya:

1) A reversed bend. So either play the 9th, then do a reversed semi-tone bend. Or just do a bend/release from 9th to 10th to 9th frets. Works either way.

2) Not really sure, but at the end of each verse you have those bell-like tones that are appergios of D, F# and G chords. I used that progression for my own recording, and it seems to fit quite well. You can hear the original song at http://www.muse.mu->media->movies->plug in baby, so you can try for yourself.

D
F#
G

I've seen matthew play the following guitar bit over the verse:

E|---------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------|
D|-7~~~~~~~~8~~~~~~~~~~9~~~~~~~~-|
A|---------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------|

I guess he is basically just playing the highest note from the chords above an octave lower or something. Works fine as well.

B|-------------------------6-6-6-6-|
G|-----------------5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-|
D|-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-|

My plug in baby

Crucifies my enemies

When I'm tired of giving

My plug in baby

In unbroken virgin realities

Is tired of living

Interlude:
Just replay the first part of the intro riff.

Verse 2:
Again, exit guitar. Hello vocals:

Don't confuse
Baby you're gonna lose
You're own game
Change me
And place the envying
To forget your love

Chorus:
No changes, just same old chorus.

Outro:
Just keep on playing the riff. End on 9th fret 4th string (B note). if you're feeling brave you may try to sing the followling lyrics during the first time you play the riff again:

And I feel your loving,
Baby
And I've been in trouble

That's it. Don't forget to turn the gain up.
