Only now have I noticed Jamir's post re Children of the Revolution....I could never work that out a few years ago, but now....hmmm, I do love a challenge! Just had a go at it off the top of my head, doesn't seem too difficult...I'll have to dig out the Greatest Hits CD though and check what key it's in....

I did have Jeepster on a 45RPM picture disc single way back, I still think it was the best TRex single they ever did. Let it go for 20p at a car boot sale a few years back. I know! What a pratt I was.

That's incredible, I've seen that video dozens of times. Until about a year ago I had it downloaded on my computer. I've been looking at you for years! I'll have to find that somewhere and download it again.

I don't know about that Bowie song. But I know Bolan played the guitar on Billion Dollar Babies for Alice Cooper, and a also Hold On on Ringo Starr's solo album in the 70's that had You're Sixteen on it.

There was a bit of rivalry between Bolan and Bowie.

I have got to see Jeepster again. I also liked the Slider and Rock On.

My favorite solo is Buick Mackane!

You know I was a huge T. Rex fan. I have the Electric Warrior and Slider CD's now. Many years ago I had almost everything he did.

Marc Bolan never got credit as a great guitar player, but he was. He had a vibrato as good as Paul Kossoff of Free. He was also an excellent rhythm guitar player. He knew how to "Boogie".

I think my all time favorite was "Ballrooms of Mars"
