I was fiddling around and came up with this pattern as one that works pretty nicely for the verses.<br><br>Du..u..uDu      <br>1+2+3+4+<br><br>This also sounds cool...<br>Play the upstokes, the "and" beats, on beats 1 2 &amp; 4 with a stacatto feel.  Muting with the heal or edge of your pick hand. (some call this a heal stroke)  Almost like a Reggae groove.<br><br>For the chorus I use a more of a straight Du strum with slow single strums at the Bm G A for expression.<br><br>Great song for playing around with all types of strumming patterns.<br><br>Rock on...<br>Michael]]></content:encoded>
