Manfred Mann were a great pop group in the 60's and a really good "Prog Rock" band in the 70's.....

So I listened more closely to their music and "The Young Ones" became my instant favorite.

Sir Saint Cliff still gets played a hell of a lot on oldies stations.....this was a classic "pop" record before pop became a dirty word,...I think the first intro I ever worked out myself was "Summer Holiday" - one of the exes was a BIIIIIIIIG Cliff Fan!

I may still have this somewhere - have to dig it out and have a listen, one of those songs that always goes down well in the pub because everybody knows it, even if they don't like admitting it!!!
