Be sure to hold that note immediately before the slide a little longer then one normally would when sliding to another note.  Plus the slide itself is not super fast as you can easily hear all the notes as he passes each fret.<br><br>If you are playing it on an acoustic, you might choose to hit the note immediately before the slide a second time just prior to sliding.<br><CODE><i>
