Finding "Daydream" by the Loving' Spoonful in the archives reminded me of another one of their old songs. Although "Younger Girl" appears on their Greatest Hit compilations, chances are you'll have to be of a "certain age" to know it. It's easy to play and I threw in a couple of Am and D7 arpeggios in the middle of one of the Choruses which is similar to the original, but not exact. But it's fun, easy and will do. I also ended the song with a C chord in lieu of the fade-out.

                Younger Girl - Lovin' Spoonful

Intro:

Dm Em F G
/ / / / / / / /

Verse 1:

	   Dm Em F G
She's one of those girls who seems to come in the Spring
	 Dm Em F G
One look in her eyes and you forget everything
	     Bb
You had ready to say
	            G7
And I saw her today, yeah...

Chorus:

   C G7 C
A younger girl keeps a-rollin' 'cross my mind
	        C D7 G7
No matter how much I try, I can't seem to leave her memory behind
	 Am
I remember her eyes, soft dark and brown
	        D7
Said she'd never been in trouble . . . even in town
    C G7 C
A younger girl keeps a-rollin' 'cross my mind

Chorus with Instrumental:

           C D7 G7
No matter how much I try, I can't seem to leave her memory behind

	     Am Am Am
	E -------------------------------0--
	B ----------1---------------1----1--
	G --------2---2---2-------2------2--
	D ------2-------2-------2--------2--
	A --0-----------------0----------0--
	E ----------------------------------

          D7 D7 D7
	E ----------2---------------2---2---
	B --------1---1---1-------1-----1---
	G ------2-------2-------2-------2---
	D --0-----------------0---------0---
	A ----------------------------------
	E ----------------------------------

   C G7 C
A younger girl keeps a-rollin' 'cross my mind

Verse 2:

     Dm Em F G
And should I hang around, acting like her brother
     Dm Em F G
In a few more years, they'd call us right for each other
    Bb
And why
                     G7
If I wait I'll just die, yeah...

Chorus

Repeat verse 1

Outro:

Dm Em F G
Dm Em F G C
