The tubulator has a very good lead tone, but I was looking for more of a crunchy rhythm / metal distortion. Also, turning up the gain on my Classic 20 gives much more crunch than the tubulator - with more bottom end as well. I think it would be good for adding some punch and sustain to a solo, but it's not what I was hoping for.

The chorus pedal is one I've owned before and really liked, so I was very disappointed by this one. The one I had previously was very quiet. The one I got this time was terribly noisy - there was a non-stop flanging sound coming out of it, even when it was turned off!
