Hi all

I am building a 19" distortion unit with different distortions for different frequency bands.
I will use the Austin Gold for the low frequency band, and I am now looking for something to distort the high frequency band. I love the fact that the Austin leaves the tone so in tact, but I could do with a little more drive. I have noticed that most other distortions / overdrives make the high end somewhat muddy / cluttered. That is not a huge problem purely for guitar, but I intend to use the unit for more in the production stage, probably a lot on drums, and most distortions make drums sound low-fi. So I guess Iam looking for some sort of high-fi distortion... Any tips?
