Protools Mpowered: go to the system preferrences in ProTools and open up the control panel for your black box. Make sure that the mic input is enabled. You should be able to just select the input from the mixer or project properties panel.

In Cubase LE/SE/SX/4: Go to Devices/vst inputs and enable the mic input. Again activate your mic input for that track you need in either the mixer or project properties panel.

Most other DAWs should be similar.

Just bought a Shure SM58 for use with my black box(reloaded). Hooked it up to the mic input at the back. Could someone please talk me through the rest of the setup process as theres nothing in the online manual about this that i can find.

Any help would be appreciated.
