Well I got me Behringer AM100 Acoustic Modeler. I will say it does take a while to get a decent sound. I had to adjust my mixer settings as well as the volume & tone settings on my guitar. I could probably get a little better than this but I am starving and need to eat! It worked best with a Strat but I am going to try my LP again. The bass is VERY hard to adjust for recording. I would like to see a tone knob put on the pedal itself. It definitely won't REPLACE an acoustic guitar but I feel if ou are in a one-guitar band and need to switch between an acoustic to electric quickly it just might do the job...LIke some Led Zeppelin songs.

Behringer AM 100 Acoustic Modeler

As per Arjen's request in my You're Gonna LOVE MY Pedalboard! thread, I recorded a few demos of some of the effect pedals I own. I thought this was a GREAT idea and I would like to see everyone contribute to the thread. This way everyone can hear a pedal before buying it or seeing if it's what they're looking for. (Admins...This would make a GREAT Sticky!! ). Anyway, I plan on adding more demos as I get time. I listed all the settings I used with each pedal in the recording. The ONLY other pedal used for each recording is my Digitech Main Squeeze Compressor. I leave this pedal on all the time. There is also a touch of reverb which I forgot to shut off before recording. It really wasn't that much.

DOD FX64 Ice Box Chorus

I like this pedal A Lot mostly when I play without distortion. The recording is meant to show more chorus than I would normally use for demonstration purposes. It CAN actually simulate a moderate tremelo if pushed to the max! Normally I would use a much more subtle setting. I like this pedal so much I got rid of my Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus after playing with the Ice Box even though the Cool Cat gets rave reviews! It had more of the sound I was looking for.

Digitech Bad Monkey Tube Overdrive

To be honest this isn't the best recording but I wanted to post it anyway. I am still learning how to get proper settings for recording distortion...I may update it. I LOVE this overdrive pedal and always use it whenever I do solo-type work. The recording doesn't really demonstrate the tube quality it really has. I have the gain all the way off on this one.

DOD FX56-B American Metal Distortion

This pedal can really sound like the 80's hair bands! It sounds great with palm muting and gives a good crunch and not just hiss like a lot of metal pedals do.

Digitech Hot Head Distortion

This by FAR is my favorite distortion pedal. You can get a "mild" Clapton distortion to AC/DC & Black Sabbath. The crunch with this pedal is AMAZING! This pedal is a MUST for anyone who plays classic rock!

I know my timing could be better in my playing but I wanted to start this thread off ASAP!

Like I said earlier, I say all the settings in the recordings to make it easier (for me anyway!). I really would like to see this thread stickied. I wish there was a thread like this when I first started playing. I want to see EVERYONE contribute a recording to this thread! We can either keep each post a DIFFERENT effect or is someone want to use different settings on an already posted effect that would be cool as well! I hope everyone likes this idea and I am looking forward to hearing your effects! 8)
