If you want to connect the GX-700 to PC you should connect the (line)outputs from GX-700 to the line-in port on the PC soundcard.

You can also test to switch the two DIN (Midi) connectors between in and out holes in the Boss unit.

I had a similar problem with a MIDI cable to my V-Amp2 unit.

Can you please help as MIDI is new to me. Have I bought the wrong cable? I can't buy one that connects to the soundcard as the card has no joystick port. It is a new Creative X-Fi. Or do I need some software to go with it? :cry:
