Fo now though, I'm considering just miking th amp to see how it is.

I found about 20 or so patches out on the net, and 15 of them turned out to be really good. I think the most amazing thing is that even the over-the-top ones are usable so far. I've got PLENTY to go through still. So far though, I'm still very much liking this whole thing. 20 patches and 20 presets examined so far, and only about 4 of them I've got rated poorly. Realistically, they all be could be rated higher by someone else who can handle lood coming from their ear-drums. Some of these can be too loud. Already turned down a few.

Well, I've messed around with it some more. I found a USB cable lurking around under my desk and hooked that up. Installed an app called Librarian and found some good patches on-line. Librarian also (supposedly) converts GT-6 and GT-8 patches to work on GT-10. Sooooo, if any previous offers of patches are still standing, I'll PM you my email address......

The UI is proving to be a continued impressive aspect to this. A surprising feature, though, is that the documentation is very good too. Those are two things I had gripes with on my 6.

So, straight out of the box samples of some pre-set samples. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=833547

The first one is the 60's Fuzz done on the neck of my LP. Brief snips of the National Anthem, Wild Thing and the easy version of Hey Joe. The second one called Clean Theater and has some mindless bashing of Breathe, plain 'ol noodling and Tangerine. I was changing tempos up a bit for this one to let it ring once in a while.

Sounds much better through my amp. Something is cutting off my highs a bit while recording, but that's another day.
