If both controls are set to max your bass will tend to "boom" and your high end can get brittle and edgy. But I like the settings around 8 out of 10. But it sounds great with my HRD. I can get a real jangly rhythm guitar sound on my neck pickups, almost sounds like a real acoustic.

Some say this effect is subtle, but I can hear the difference easily. This pedal is really good for someone who uses clean tones, it will really make your tone full and warm. Makes my Tele sound great, not thin sounding at all with this pedal.
