There's no black art to making your own CDs these days. Grab hold of a copy of Audacity, which is a free, yes free, download from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Plug a mic into your pc - plenty of cheap mics on ebay, or check out prices in your local shop

Hit record, and play. Then once you're happy with the results you can burn your own CD on your PC or upload a mp3 file to any one of a number of good sites so we can go listen.

ok - the sound quality might not be what you'd get buying a CD from the shops, but it gets your music out there. And, if you write songs, it doesn't matter if they're written using mostly power chords or contain loads of Gregorian Chant; they're your songs and you should show them off.

You'll get heaps of replies about this one, all containing good information. We look forward to hearing the results.
