Something Chris C said when critiquing my first writing just triggered a fast paced song in my head when he said something was pretty cliche. I can only say that for whatever reason this just clicked, and I actually like how this turned out, but can' find the right kind of up-beat music without making it sound too similar to another song. Hope you like it, it's all meant to be tongue in cheek.

We're born to live
And we live to love
We love to hate
And hate to love
Seems like from the day we're born that's all that we've been taught

If you've felt the love
You've felt the hate
They say forgive, but I forget
I just don't think that this is worth the time

(Chorus)
From the cradle to the grave
My life has been one big cliche
I guess I'll have to live my life with the hand that I've been dealt
But don't you worry now enjoy the ride
I'm just here to bide my time

I've tried to stop and smell the roses
But got a thorn stuck in my side
It never seems to end all I do is lick my wounds

Now you may think I've got an ax to grind
Don't hold your breath
Kiss my behind
We've all got this one life to live

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
Live, Life, like it's going out of style
Death, Taxes, are all that apply
You can see plain as day
Your life too is one cliche

From the cradle to the grave
Our lives are all one big cliche
I guess we'll have to live or lives
With the hands that we've been dealt
But don't you worry now enjoy the ride
We're all just here biding our own time

From the cradle to the grave
My life has been one big cliche
I guess I'll have to live my life
With the hand that I've been dealt
But don't you worry now, this song is done
Ain't it all just so cliche......
