Without a chorus or something it just didn't seem to have any meaning to me.

I don't really understand what you're trying to convey. I think it's about a guy whos not really going anywhere or doesn't have a future, but I couldn't connect to any emotion.

Just my opinion, but it would be nice to know what brought him back to the street, the grey skies, etc. Why is he feeling this way?

I think you have some good ideas on here, and I know you wrote it to be a little different with there not being any chorus, etc., but I was left feeling like I didn't know anything more about this person other than he was standing there in the rain.

Good start here, just want to see more in it.
