Coz even meaningless things
Need their rest something
So they can be awake
To watch the world go by

I live different lives

One minute I'm a writer and the next I'm on TV
Better make a decision, get out of this fantasy
Coz even movie stars
Need some peace sometimes
So they can be prepared
To face the world outside

Well I'd rather hide

And when its late at night I start to feel important
No one to talk with it's just myself to call a friend
Coz if you ever need
Anything from them
They can take it away
Leave you hurt and broken

Or can they?

And all my theories go out the window
Come morning time
8 hours seems to make a difference
To our minds
And I don't know why?

My bedside clock is still flashing at me
And I bet that in an hour I wont be asleep
Coz my eyes are heavy
My brain wont switch off
