Couple of minor points....

"I'll be singin' songs with a happier sound
For a darlin' who'll turn your head around"

You're changing perspective mid-song.....maybe something like

"I'll be singin' songs with a happier sound
For the darlin' who turned my head around"

would fit better. Then this line, "There never sang a bluebird 'cause of the chill" looks a little forced - maybe "bluebirds never sang there 'cause of the chill" would flow more naturally.

As always, just MY opinion....nice bouncy upbeat song. Don't see too many of those around here!
