Feel The Love

I fell in love on a one-way street,
And the ground gave beneath my feet.
The thought itself is out of sight,
I prove myself my inner fight.
Filled with hope, my green-eyed dreams,
And all this life ever seems.
The road that ate my life and soul
Never to reach the be all goal.

I cannot possibly comprehend
Where countless matters bend
And all the dreams beneath my thoughts
Feel the love? I cannot.

Quiet streams and endless lakes,
Points my life hopes to make,
To build a life if I
Could not feel and could not cry.
A gift given where oceans swell,
Where words of kindess pass for ill,
While hopes and dreams escape my grip,
And into nothingness they slip.

I cannot possibly comprehend
Where countless matters bend
And all the dreams beneath my thoughts
Feel the love? I cannot.

What wil I do if nothing comes
And if my hand never strums
Then I know that pain is real,
In all my dreams I'll never feel.
Ridding me of what is to be,
To trade it for a mystery...
