The title is a bit of play on the phrase 'fly on the wall', observing but not getting involved.<br><br>On The Wall<br><br>There he sits, man of his own making<br>All that he's offered has been taken<br>And yet he sits all alone<br><br>If he talks, there's no one to listen<br>No matter what the wisdom to be glistened<br>The people pass him by<br><br>And see him, Fridays alone<br>Footy on the tube<br>And see him, balancing it all<br>With nothing at all to lose<br><br>A crowded office on Monday morning<br>And none of them there saw all the warning<br>To busy ignoring the man<br><br>A casual word about the footy ignored<br>By a man who works for the award<br>Of the money and his friends<br><br>And all it would take<br>Is someone to say â€˜hey,'<br>To see him totter back, balancing again<br>To see out another day<br><br>And see him, Fridays alone<br>Footy on the tube<br>And see him, balancing it all<br>With nothing to lose<br><br>Another day and there's something missing<br>Someone asks and then there's the reminiscing<br>Of a man they never knew<br><br>And see himâ€¦<br><br>i sat down with a friend and played this and she suggested a few changes here and there... so any advice would be greatly appreciated]]></content:encoded>
