I feel a sense of self-being
I am able to sit and ponder about my life.
Where the road will turn next, and
how far it will take me to get there.

Looking out, I hear the trees swaying in the wind,
and the clinging of the sailboat posts together
as I watch the sailboats gliding gracefully
through the rough waters.

The sand is moist and warm from this
hot summer's day,
as I glide my feet through the sand,
I can feel pebbles running between
my toes.

Even with a cool wind blowing,
it doesn't seem to stop people coming
out and enjoying these same views,
possibly pondering about their road
to life; like me.
