                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[The only reason I mentioned it is because a lot of guys think they want to make the strings lower, and they really want to flatten out their neck, etc.  Guitar setup is a complete system, and understanding how it all works together is key to getting everything right.<br><br>Especially when I had a floyd, it seems like everything is a four point balancing act:  Between<br><br>1.  The truss rod adjustment<br>2.  Bridge height<br>3.  Trem claw position<br>4.  Intonation<br><br>Changing any one of these is likely to affect ALL of the others in a small way, and finding which ones can be monkeyed with and which ones have to be adjusted to compensate is... not an entertaining way to spend a Saturday night.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Which part of the action specifically are you speaking of?<br><br>In the usual manner, you can adjust the truss rod at the headstock. The bridge height is altered by the two little allen wrench receiving posts that the "knife" of the trem goes into.<br><br>With the floyd of course, you're going to want to retune after every small adjustment you make, and make sure you get assistance if you need to adjust the claw screws, as they are a lot more sensitive than most people imagine.<br><br>Check out <a href="http://www.jemsite.com">http://www.jemsite.com</a> for more information than you could possibly want.   :D]]></content:encoded>
