I have a Roland Cube 15 practice amp that sells for about $99 and has great effects and IS LOUD. Also, very easy to move around. They also make a Cube 30 that goes for less than $200. Excellent amp, and very highly rated by guitar magazines.

Jason I would say get the marshall mg cd 15 without the effects...and get an effects processor like Digitech Rp 50 or zoom 505 II.That would give you a horde of effects and a great marshall tone.
