I just do an OPEN on the file menu and select the file I want mp3, wav or whatever.  It then opens it in the next track. I tend to load the backing track in the first track then open a recording track.<br><br>Are you having this problem with all mp3's or just selected ones?  It could be in an mp3 format that Audacity does not support.]]></content:encoded>
