Nils, I got this sudden sense of dejvu , Some how i have it in my mind that i know someone who works at winthrop who knows someone who knows someone who works at winthrop who has a spouse who is a band director at a local school :? :?: . cnev lives just north of me, we plan to get together in the near future and jam--the dog
I will ask her if she knows that someone
So lets see what my timing is and maybe we can make something happen. I flew the last time but planning on driving this time so I can bring stuff with me.
I'd love to be taking the pictures at that gig.....nearest I got to pink was a pale lilac shirt (this is going back to the 70's by the way!!!) with a purple tank-top and very dark purple flares.....with a white nylon bomber-jacket with purple trim.....good god, I must've looked like a very stretched version of Prince on a bad day!!! (I was ony ickle then - bout 6'1"..I've grown a bit since, now 6'5"...."
I shudder to think back to those days.....!!!!

I have to add my two cents! I am a woman and I play the Daisy Rock Retro H 12-string electric (in pink with an estrogen symbol at the 12th fret). This guitar rocks! Schecter makes the Daisy Rock guitars. It's their ladies and girls line. I wouldn't give mine up for double the price I paid for it!

I think everyone is agreeing with you Elecktrablue. I think the guys just have problems with the colors is all. From what I have heard they are great guitars.
Yah, they look great and probably play great, but the colors are not for your typical male. Even some of the more nuetral colors are "flashy" and I would think they would be great for dudes in a glam band. Maybe doing a tribute of the New York Dolls or even 80's hair metal. By the way, for that possible gathering near Rock Hill, I am in SW Charlotte and trying to hook up with a drummer from another forum. I'll email you cnev to update phone numbers.
It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!
Daisy Rock rules. Never saw this new guitar but it looks awesome, very interested to hear how they sound. I myself am mostly interested in the pink heart-shaped guitar. One of the most attractive-looking guitars I've ever seen. Admit it guys, sunburst LPs are boring. :P
I prefer to stay away from LP's and Strats and their copies myself. I have my eye on several guitars that are not remotely like those, but Daisy Rock's are a little too different for me.

Well Electra, you are allowed to play a Daisy rock guitar, but they are not to be played by heterosexual males in public!!
