I recently picked up a second guitar from a friend of mine. It's a minty satin black Jackson js22. I bought a fretrest wall hanger for it. This might be a stupid paranoid question but when I put the guitar on the fretrest wall hanger the low and high E strings get pinched in a bit just above the nut from the hanger foam. Is it ok to store the guitar like this or am I gonna damage the strings or anything else by always keeping it on the hanger except when playing it. I really like the guitar and don't want to damage anything. Anybody else run into this with certain headstocks and e strings getting pinched by wall hangers? Over time can this damage or stretch the strings or damage anything else in any way. Thanks :?
