That's true about it feeling a bit weird when you change from playing electric to acoustic and vice versa - it felt really weird playing an electric for the first time after playing only on an acoustic - the strings felt funny and were closer together, and I tried to play an B B King song like B B King and it sounded pathetic. The trick is to keep playing both regularly I think. The 10x/100x was how it felt the moment I got hold of it (I've been 100% electric up to now).

It gets easier, but will still take some time getting used to. Finger memory tells me to press lightly on the strings, when I should be giving it some more pressure.

Reckon I'll have sore fingers tomorrow. :) If the new Seagull is that much harder to fret than an electric, you should seriously consider taking it to a luthier and having a good setup done on it.

My acoustics are harder to fret than my electrics, but even my 12 string doesn't take as much as twice the force to fret. The difference in my six string is simply the difference between 10's and 12's.

No worries at all. It's obviously been played, but sounds good.

Looks nicer than in the pics - just need to practice now (fretting is 10x harder than a lecky guitar and 100x less forgiving)
