                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[The lack of a "Made in..." transfer makes me think that maybe this is a no-name that someone has put a "Fender" transfer on to - they are readily available on ebay. <br>Fender usually puts serial numbers on the front (most US, Mexi) or back of the headstock (Custom Shop, signature) or, in the case of Japanese built guitars, on the back of the neck, by the heel.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[This will give you some idea where you might find a serial number, and from there, you might be able to estimate the date of manufacture. <a href="http://www.fender.com/support/dating/fender_us_dating.php">http://www.fender.com/support/dating/fender_us_dating.php</a><br>As they point out on that page, "But once again, due to the modular nature of Fender's production methods, and the fact that most serial numbers schemes are not sequential and usually overlap from between 2 to 4 years, (from the early days of Fender, through to the mid 1980s), dating by the serial number is not an exact science."<br>Since you found it in Korea, maybe it's an "MIK." Those serial numbers would start with CN(XXXXXX) or VN(XXXXXX) on Korean made Fender/Squier guitars, and the dating on those is unclear.<br>Hope this helps.]]></content:encoded>
