Hey all.
Yup I'm unplugging as of Monday the 30th. I'm removing myself entirely from the net. I'm also removing cable tv from my household. So as much as it was a hard decision, I think it is the right one. I want to spend more time with my family and on teaching my kids. I love this site and have made some friends here. I appreciate you all. I'll be looking forward to seeing some of your names in lights. Thanks to you all for a great experience and some real cool jams.
Peace,
hue.
That's....drastic. As much as I would love life without cell phones, phones, TV, etc, I don't think I could live without internet access.
Good for you standing up for your convictions, though. Cya around, m8.
I hate to hear that, Hueseph, but, you're absolutely right, family should take precedence over everything else. We'll miss you and your posts and wish the very best for you and your family in all of your future endeavors. Maybe you can check in from time to time (from someone else's net connection!) and let us know how things are going! You've been a wonderful asset to GN and you will be missed! Take care.

Well good for you. It's actually refreshing. I don't know if I could take that much inner peace over a long time, but I'd like to try someday.

Good luck. I know it was a tough decision but I bet it's the right one for you.. Don't know if I have the power of conviction to do it myself.
We look forward to you coming back. Get desperate, go to the library.
Good luck to ya Hue. You'll be greatly missed. Take care!! 8)

It's been good. I appreciate all the help you have given me while you've been here, especially with the recordings I've done in Hear Here. Your input really has made a difference.
You will be missed
Thanks again

You know, you can also get online for free via dial-up (Juno,) so you might want to get rid of your landline...

Done. Actually. I'm sticking with my cel. Landline is gone as of Monday as well. Peace all. You rock! But you already know that.
As my late great-great-grandfather said in 1874 'nothing is permanent, espescially disconnecting from the internet'. Maybe we'll see you around again later, and if not good luck with everything. Take care.
Best to you and your family, Hue. Having you here as a GN resident has been a real pleasure, and I've enjoyed your honest musicianship, as well (nice playing, guy!). Until sometime in the future ...
