The Vox Valvetronix, while only half tube, half solid state, is supposed to be a real nice amp. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-Valvetronix-AD15VT-15W-Guitar-Combo?sku=481958 Also, I have the Epiphone Valve Special http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Valve-Special-Combo-?sku=480262 and LOVE it. I have got headphones and do occasionally plug them in
I saw the Epi amp after getting my Marshall or I'd have got one, however I won't buy another amp for a long time as I don't use the one I have.
