from 12th fret on G,B,E strings to the 17th on all those strings, learn all notes in the key (im guessing its C/Am) so, no accidentals, and just mess around, when you get something, write it down and use it.

why not say, for every "dun" or "duun" play it twice instead of once.

i think you are also looking for decoration.. you can use.

1) trills (im sure you know what these are
2) turns (play a note, note above it, back to note, note below, back to note) usually at a very fast speed, you would have heard them millions of times.
3) passing notes, you can use slides to connect notes, or you can chromatically climb from one note to another (just make sure you accent before and when you get to where you want to be)
