inside walls are fine.
be careful leaving a guitar on a stand because the padding could be reactive to guitar finishes.

so keep an eye on things.
dont store your guitar near a heat source or in a sunny window.

wipe the strings and guitar body with a soft cloth after playing.

Basically, a good rule of thumb, make sure you would be comfortable in the climate your guitar is in.

other than that, you can store it about anywhere, guitar stands work, just make sure you don't knock it over. I like to sit mine in a chair, with the front of the guitar leaning against the chair back.
