                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Two possibilities: mute the middle string by letting a finger rest lightly against the string to be muted (probably the same finger you're using to fret the lower note), or pluck the two strings, the lower one with the pick and the upper one with a finger (hybrid picking).<br>It's hard to say which is the better solution for the song you're playing.  If it's only two strings you're playing, you might be playing an octave.  Then I'd suggest the first method.  If, on the other hard, you're playing a partial chord, hybrid picking might be a better solution (to get that rockabilly solo sound).<br>Hope that's useful for you.]]></content:encoded>
