Wow, that's quite an offer. Unless you are completely allergic to the songs they are playing, I'd go for it. Consider yourself a hired gun, and enjoy the experience. Next year, you can invite them to play in YOUR band.

And we have both been recruited to this new band.
However i'm not sure if i'm allowed to perform the songs i have written or just the ones written by this new band..
