Loud, great sound, plays OK for 40 years of abuse but I'm carefull with it too. Pretty cheap for true vintage sound at the camp fire!! :D
Beater electric is a Epiphone Les-paul (narrow body - bolt on neck) which was my 1st electric guitar & has NEVER let me down (apart from sounding like a cheap guitar if theres no overdrive...like thats gonna happen!)

I was already taking lessons from the guy at the store so it was a no brainer to do it because lessons are normally $15 so it was a deal in itself without the guitar. So it was a win-win situation for me. Free guitar and lessons to learn how to make it not sound like crap.

It's a New York pro and they go for $99(at least at the store i got it at). It didn't sound that good with the stock strings, but after putting on some ernie balls, it sounds really warm and full. The fretboard is synthetic so it is pretty impervious to weather changes which makes it good for outdoor use.

I am gonna take it with me when my family goes up to our cabin this summer. Hopefully the neighbors will enjoy my campfire serenades. :D

A little tale about the guitar:
Behind the bridge their is a little paint chip that occured from when my heavy electric guitar (a jackson) decided to fall of its stand and use one of it's tuning pegs to teach the poor little acoustic who's the boss. I filled in the chip with a black sharpie so it really isn't that noticeable, but whatever, it gives it character.
If you look at the pic, it is that little dot of glare.
