The 300 looks to be the same guitar in a new package, which is very much so desired by me.

I dont like the way the 500 feels that much, I am going to change the neck once I get some money.

I believe this is Line 6's reply to the 500 owners that have voiced their beefs with the 500's neck.

Id say get it depending on the price. I'm not quite sure what to think of it. Did sound awesome in a store (the 500, that is), and I guess noone will notice the difference in a live situation.
