                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[If you are interested in Robert Johnson, keep an eye on PBS for a repeat of Eric Clapton's tribute.<br>It's very good (excluding, IMHO, the first two songs played by a Jazz band).<br><br>For cool intermediate songs, you might try these:<br><br>Come To My Window by Melissa Etheridge has several interesting rhythm patterns<br>Band on the Run by Paul McCartney &amp; Wings has some great leads and a cool acoustic part<br>Californication	and Under the Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers are awesome songs<br>Drive by Incubus has interesting rhythms and fairly unusual lyrics<br>Plush by Stone Temple Pilots has an interesting beginning<br>Cheap Trick songs are fun and simple for acoustic, with very interesting lead guitar fills<br>Peace Of Mind by Boston has interesting acoustic chord progressions with strong leads<br><br>I'm currently working on the second solo for Peace of Mind to get it "spot on" as they say.]]></content:encoded>

Instead of thinking of a song as "easy" or "unappealling," think of them as "basic arrangements," "intermediate arrangements" and then as your own personal arrangement.<br><br>With a little luck, I'll have a demonstration on this within the next week or so on the Songs for Intermediates lesson page with, of all things, Cyndi Lauper's <I>Time After Time</I>.  <br><br>Peace]]></content:encoded>
