It has a bright sound to it . . . but also a little squeaky . . . you could duplicate the sound by using glass I suppose.
And the one I got has veins in it and every once in a while a vein will catch on a string . . .
not enough to throw me off beat . . . and listening you wouldn't be able to tell but I could feel it catch.
It's not exactly what I was hoping for . . . I would like to find a material that is somewhere in between a plastic pick (which makes a flapping noise) and stone which apparently has a squeaky sound . . .
I wonder if plexiglass would work . . .
Anyway that's my show and tell . . .

I'd definately go out of my way for them.....
