I didn't see this post.

But I learned the song this week to put different distortions to it.

Begining with F#, I'd say Kurt has a pretty tight grip on the normal E there, both vids, and at 1:45 though you can't see it till after. He wraps his thumb over the low E string too on an F# note? The bass is really active or has more than a beat but a melody which throws us off. I think in the chorus, Kurt changes his G voicing from standard/open to barre and back, to look cool, as if he's "on it" and really playing with some variation.

He has had credit as a good guitarist, believe it or not, probably for holding his own, or supporting the music in a power trio, where it's pretty minimalist :?:

(I love there live peformances during the bleach era)
Anyways I would like to ask does anybody know what chord this is during the chorus. The song is "dive" and I have tried playing the Echord to the Fmajor, but in alot of the live videos kurt is playing some other chord...at least it looks like it. In video "1" at a minute and 45 seconds in is the sound Im trying to achieve. Here in video "2" it is easier to see, as it is ariel and in front of the stage( much better view)

1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm1yY5GUbps
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPpop6ftrYw
Thanks in advance -Brak
