(That's how we say it in E. TN.) I'm from up north, but lemme give 'er a try: Mosta daddy's famly done come outta Newport. Mama's a yankee from Wisconsin. Now she's one a them there d@mn yankees, accounna they done moved from up north to just a lick outsida Gatlinburg a few years back.

We used to go to Tennessee about every other summer growing up. The stories my granddaddy would tell ... Also been out on moonshine detail with my cousin's husband. Interesting times. My grand dad rode "Shotgun" With the local Moonshiners Back in the late 30's. He was living in Kansas then. Also Had some relatives from central Kentucky who made the stuff. Half of my ancestors made the stuff and the other half were in law enforcement :wink: Must have made some interesting if not awkward family get togethers back then :lol:
